Why Tunisia?
Tunisia has been ranked in the top 5 African countries and in the top 10 Arab countries for its cybersecurity, according to the Global Cybersecurity Index published by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). It ranks ahead of Morocco and Algeria and behind Egypt in North Africa.
With a score of 86.23 out of 100, it ranks 45th worldwide. The score comprises five points out of 20, making a total of 100: legal, technical, and organizational measures, development capacity, and cooperation measures. In detail, Tunisia received the highest score, 20/20, for legal measures, and 12.21/20 for organizational measures.
The latest Global Cybersecurity Index shows that Africa's level of commitment to cybersecurity - and its ability to respond to threats - remains low compared to other continents. The gap between Africa and other continents is widening. According to 6Wresearch, the Tunisia Cyber Security Market size is anticipated to register growth during 2020-26. The outbreak of the global COVID-19 pandemic has no doubt, led to disruptions in the economy globally and has impacted various sectors globally also. The industrial sector has been highly impacted as a result of disruptions in the production cycle as a result of nationwide lockdown imposed over in the developed and developing economies across the world, as the Regions ramp up to win the bid to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus. The advent of the digital world has led to an increase in the demand for data and as a result, has imposed pressure on the installation of superior software-based security infrastructure to align the supply chain with the rising demand in the economy. This is expected to bring in bountiful opportunities for the Tunisia cyber security market to witness a spur in the coming year 2021 and is anticipated to leave a positive impact on the overall market growth of the Tunisia cyber security market in the next five to ten years.
Further, Intelligent automation is making its position in the overall industrial landscape towards bringing in better efficiencies and productive business growth and is witnessing a significant deployment and is expected to be of great importance for the industrial landscape recolonization and as a result is expected to pose significant growth prospects for the Tunisia cyber security market in the forthcoming years. Additionally, increased and enhanced consumer experience and spectacular business growth prospects is making it an ideal industrial product and would be a growth catalyst in the growth of the Tunisia cyber security market in the coming future.
